This Fair Use Policy (“Policy”) governs your use of Lucentsia’s AI-powered services (“the Service”) and forms an integral part of our Terms of Use.

Lucentsia is committed to maintaining a secure, responsive, and high-quality experience for all users.

To achieve this, we implement fair usage practices and actively monitor activity to prevent misuse, excessive demand, or automated exploitation of the Service.

1. Purpose of This Policy

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure that all users have equal and uninterrupted access to Lucentsia’s AI capabilities while safeguarding system integrity, data security, and service performance.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this Policy and to use Lucentsia in a lawful, responsible, and human-driven manner.

2. Prohibited Uses

You shall not, under any circumstance, use the Service to:

• Engage in activities that are illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful;
• Disseminate spam, phishing content, or unsolicited messages;
• Automate or script requests to the Service (including bots, scrapers, or macro tools) without explicit written authorization from Lucentsia;
• Attempt to bypass, overload, degrade, or impair the performance, security, or availability of the Service;
• Employ the Service for benchmarking, reverse-engineering, or developing competing AI models or services;
• Access or use the Service in any manner inconsistent with ordinary human interaction or ethical AI use.

Any violation of the above shall be considered a material breach of our Terms of Use.

3. High-Volume or Abusive Usage

Lucentsia is designed for personal, interactive use and assumes normal, human-scale usage patterns.

We reserve the right to identify and investigate unusual activity, including but not limited to:

• Excessive requests made within a short time frame;
• Continuous automated or repetitive queries;
• Use patterns suggesting shared or commercialized access;
• Attempts to manipulate or artificially inflate interaction metrics.

Where such activity is detected, Lucentsia may temporarily throttle, suspend, or restrict access to preserve fair availability for all users.

4. Enforcement and Consequences

If Lucentsia determines, in its sole discretion, that you have breached this Policy, we may take appropriate action to protect our infrastructure and users.

Such measures may include, but are not limited to:

• Issuing a written or in-app warning notice;
• Temporarily suspending or rate-limiting your access;
• Permanently terminating your access or account;
• Taking legal or technical measures to prevent further abuse.

Lucentsia shall make reasonable efforts to provide notice of enforcement actions but reserves the right to act without prior notice in cases of serious or repeated violations.

5. Monitoring and Data Handling

Lucentsia reserves the right to monitor usage patterns, connection logs, and interaction data strictly for the purposes of:

• Ensuring system reliability and equitable distribution of resources;
• Detecting abuse, fraud, or automated exploitation;
• Improving service performance and safeguarding user trust.

Monitoring is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Lucentsia may revise or amend this Fair Use Policy at any time to reflect evolving service requirements or legal obligations.

All modifications shall become effective upon publication within the Application or on our official website.

Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
